inweskersdesk[The diminutive medic is excited. She is very excited. She's so excited she seems to be bouncing a little in front of the camera.]
Hey everyone! I came back late from my night shift at the hospital and found these in my room! [She struggles to lift a set of heavy textbooks, that probably weigh nearly as much as she does, up to the camera.] It's a series of medical textbooks!! [She sets them back down quickly, narrowly avoiding dropping them on her own foot.] They're a little out of date, but that's okay, so were the ones at my university! They even have treatments for things I've never heard of!
Jill! Do you know who left these for me? I heard the few medical books here were burned with the library! Who could have had them?
Oh! And Cube! Cube! These will be a ton of help at the hospital! Imagine how much easier it'll be to treat patients with all this information on hand! And to teach people! Oh! And I'll be able to finish my notes a lot faster too! Just look at all of the information here!
[Rebecca quickly gets distracted digging through the heavy bound textbooks. So much knowledge!]

Did you get the medical books? And what do you mean, last time? Has this happened before?

Oh! No, I asked for medical books and I reachieved children books on silly things...
This occurrence of finding something when you wake up has happened before. I don't know if it's the scientists or what but Sometimes you find nice things near you when you wake up. Once I found clothing from my home world.
This is possibly the best thing I've seen anyone receive! [In his mind] Well, right next to the moon rifle Reisen got... [That is now his and he carries around regularly]

I'm only 18 now and most of the guys were in their thirties or forties so I was the baby of the team. It was okay though...they were never mean about it... [She laughs a little, sounding sad. She tries to push away the lump that rises in her throat as she thinks about them.] A-anyway, it's not a big deal. You've really had to deal with it for decades?

Ah, yes. I age slower then humans do, apparently... that's why I have a magic spell that allows me to take on an older form but I've come to realize I no longer need it as much any longer. [He fails to mention he is mistaken for a woman sometimes too but that's far more embarrassing then being mistaken as a child]

Date: 2011-03-08 03:39 am (UTC)I guess after being the doctor here for awhile people respect you even though you look like a little kid, especially since you take their chips out. I imagine a lot of people are really thankful after that. I've heard losing their powers can cause people a lot of problems.
